Rules for UK nationals
Due to the transition period that lasts until December 31st, 2020 British citizens will still be seen as EU citizens. However, all UK nationals living and working in the Netherlands, must be in possession of a valid long term residence permit before the end date of the transition period. Furthermore, the UK driving licence also needs to be exchanged for a Dutch one, if one whishes to drive in the Netherlands after December 31st, 2020.
